Welcome to Rose & Bugleweed

Hello ~

Like in the garden, where roses and bugleweed are perfect complementary companions, I look to live a life filled with moments, items and makes that complement each other and together make something even more beautiful and complete.

Being a mother, spending time in the wide open world, reading vintage books, taking photos, listening to music, traveling, enjoying history and culture from yesteryears and taking moments to be quiet - to just observe and listen - all inspire me - and that inspiration leads to quilts, wool work, needlework, sewn objects, painted pictures, photos, written articles, and so much more.

In addition to sharing my creative maker world at Rose & Bugleweed, you can find me writing about books and words over at The Vintage Reading Room. For those into costume/cosplay, I also chronicle my costume/cosplay makes at Inkberry Cosplay.
